Set of Igneous Rocks
Igneous rocks form during volcanic eruptions, on the ocean floors, in subduction zones, and when molten rock cools underground. Our igneous rock set includes rocks in each of these areas. Each set of rocks also includes a 20 X power mini microscope.
Our Igneous Rocks book includes information about each of the rocks listed above plus a pictures of the rocks. Students will also learn igneous rock create shield volcanoes, stratovolcanoes, cinder cones, and dome volcanoes.
It is much easier for students to learn how to identify different types of igneous rocks when they read about the rocks, look at pictures in their book, and then hold them in their hands. They will also be able to look at each rock using their mini microscope.

This set of rocks is designed to be used with the textbooks and videos by Myrna Martin available on this website.
Rocks are sent by First Class mail or USPS Priority Mail.
